To Tell The Truth With Hedy Lamarr

Boy Culture has dug up this 1968 full-length episode of To Tell the Truth featuring the gorgeous Hedy Lamarr.  The task for Kitty Carlisle and company was to guess which of three handsome young men was Miss Lamarr's son.  I voted for number 1 because he was the cutest.

Bonus!  It comes complete with commercials!  Betty White makes me what to rush out and stock up on Fantastic!

Eyes Can't Shut?

Did somebody go just a little too far this time?  It has been reported often that Miss Cruise spends heavily for the latest and best techniques to maintain that youthful glow, although he denies ever having plastic surgery.  But these shots of him in London, receiving the Legend of a Lifetime Award (i.e., the "How To Get a Celebrity to Your Event By Giving Him an Award, Award" ) tell a different story.  Check out his Eyes Wide Open.  Is it my imagination or is he starting to take on that Kenny Rogers look?

When Cruise made the latest Mission Impossible movie, he looked amazing.  He was handsome, youthful, and seemed to be defying the aging process.  But as is the case with Miss Travolta and so many other celebrities, it seems that he doesn't know when to say when.

Lazy Circles is Back!

Hey Melanie!  Look what's back!

OK, here's the deal.  I took down my blog that I loved, Lazy Circles, because I took a job with the municipal government of a conservative Republican town in Texas.  I thought my opinionated, liberal, sometimes naughty musings might upset some people with power over my purse.  So I took down the blog.

Then I started working there and things quickly turned unpleasant.  Clearly, I was not a good fit for this place.  I never wore red shoes on a Thursday, but I did show up in a pink shirt and a Jesse Tyler Ferguson Tie the Knot bow tie, which was pretty much the same thing.  Little Edie expressed it much better than I could have at 2.27:

So, I left.  Meanwhile, I'm looking for my next opportunity and am expressing myself on Lazy Circles!  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy creating it.  But please, don't take any of it too seriously.  It's all for fun.

I'm glad to be back.
